International Indigenous Peoples' Day Organising Committee Meeting
The Organising Committee meeting for the observance of International Indigenous Peoples' Day was held on 27 July at the Sultan Bathery Municipality.

On June 12th, 2026, Peace Committee meeting was held at Thirunelli Panchayath. Ms. Flaisy Jose welcomed the participants. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Premachandran, Health and education Standing Committee Chairman.
Ms Pushpa C and Mr Pramod K A, ward members felicitated the participants. The meeting selected Mr Sijith as Chairman, Mr Premachandran as Convenor, Ms Sreeja as Vice Chairperson, Mr Sanoop as Joint Convenor,
Ms Pushpa C and Mr Harikrishnan as Core Team Volunteers. Various issues in the Panchayath requiring intervention of Neethi Vedhi were discussed. Mr Chandran M K, Mananthavady Taluk Field Cordinator delivered vote of thanks. 37 persons participated in the peace committee meeting.
